Arsenal have reached yet another consecutive FA Cup final and they are once again favourites to lift the trophy as they will be facing an Aston Villa team that has just avoid relegation.
After being heavily criticised for his performances during the summer, Mesut Ozil have been showing significantly better form in the second half of the season. His presence in the team has helped Arsenal win 16 out of the last 20 matches in all competitions. This run has almost put them on the verge of a top two finish for the first time in more than a decade.
More importantly, they have the chance to end the season with a piece of silverware to show for their efforts. Ozil says that the possibility of playing for a second consecutive season at the new Wembley is something that gives the team a lot of pride and joy. Villa may have knocked out Liverpool in the semifinals, but Arsenal remain confident that they can win the title. Ozil has contributed five goals and nine assists in the 28 matches this season. Even though more was expected when he signed for £ 42 million from Real Madrid, this is a considerable improvement over the last season.
