Changes coming to Liverpool both on the pitch and off the pitch

Jurgen Klopp is desperate to bring success back to Liverpool and as such is keen to make changes not only in his squad but also in his staff.

There is news that Liverpool might be interested in signing the FC Cologne pair Horn and Hector as well as Bayern Munich fitness coach.

It is reported that Matthias Hamann, the German scout for Liverpool has been following the two FC Cologne players for some time now and is due to present his findings to the Liverpool management. Both Timo Horn and Jonas Hector plays for FC Cologne and is considered as some high potential players. With Klopp desperate to bring new faces to this team next season, these two players can certainly add some quality to an ever improving Liverpool squad.

Jurgen Klopp apparently does also want to bring changes to his backroom staff and as such may have signed the Bayern Munich fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer. Many newspapers have reported that this is a done deal and that the new fitness coach will join Liverpool in the summer. He will be replacing Ryland Morgans who have already left the club.

With Klopp loving his team to play a high pressing game, he would want his players to be in good physical condition. And it will be up to the new fitness coach to ensure that the Anfield squad is ready to play the Klopp way.

Liverpool has been improving steadily under Jurgen Klopp, and it will be only next season that we will be able to assess the progress made under the German manager. Indeed, he will be able to bring new players during the summer and also get a full pre-season to prepare his players. It is then that we would be able to tell whether Liverpool is back among the best in England.
