The last couple of years has been crazy for Mesut Ozil. The German had to endure being frozen out at the club level by Arsenal for comments made against the Chinese government. He was also forced out of the German National team for political reasons and it looked like the end of the road for Ozil. He has found a new home in Fenerbache but looks like things are about to get rather uneasy for the ex-Real man.

Joachim Low has been touted as an end-of-the-season prospect for the Turkish club as they try to rebuild from an underwhelming 2021/2022 season that sees the team currently sit in 6th place. Ismail Kartal would most likely step down in May, as his appointment has always been for the short-term. Low is currently linked with the job, and various sources have confirmed that he’s actually interested in the job.

Fenerbahce midfielder Mesut Ozil has reacted to the transfer involving Arsenal loanee Ainsley Maitland-Niles. England international Maitland-Niles has left Arsenal to join AS Roma in the Italian Serie A on loan until the end of the season. The Gunners will receive €600,000 for the loan deal plus another €600,000 if certain conditions are met. In addition, AS Roma will pay his salary for the entire duration of the loan deal.

24-year-old Maitland-Niles is a utility player who can play in a number of positionseffectively and efficiently. Central midfield is his preferred position but he can also play either as a left fullback or as a right fullback. The Englishman can also do a good job on either the left side of the attacking midfield position or the right side of the attacking midfield position.

Former Arsenal star Mesut Özil has defender new Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho as the winger continues to try to adjust to life in England. Manchester United finally signed England international winger Sancho this summer after initially trying and failing to do so last year. United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjaer had long seen Sancho as an ideal signing for his side and tried to sign him last summer but with Dortmund refusing to drop their £120 million price tag, it was hard for United to negotiate and the transfer had to be called off as negotiations between the two clubs reached the deadline that the German club set without any significant improvement.

Fast forward to a year later, United re-opened negotiations with the German Bundesliga outfit, and this time, there was a compromise. After remaining stubborn that they would only sell their star for nothing less than £120 million, they eventually agreed to sell him for £75 million after all parties involved in the negotiation reached an agreement finally. Sancho arrived at Old Trafford and signed his new contract at the club and was finally unveiled as a Manchester United player much to the delight of the fans of the Red Devils. Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has warned Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang that he could find himself in the same situation as Mesut Ozil did before he left the club if the Gabonese international don’t improve his performances for his club.

Carragher sounded a note of warning to Aubameyang on Sky Sports News. He was highly critical of the Arsenal captain for his poor display in the Liverpool game at the weekend. Aubameyang was largely anonymous and had to go off in the second half as the Gunners were thrashed 3-0 at home by Liverpool.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil is in advanced talks to sign for Major League Soccer (MLS) side DC United in the ongoing transfer window. Arsenal outcast Mesut Ozil has reportedly received an offer to join Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit D. C. United ahead of the January transfer window. Spanish newspaper AS revealed that Mesut Ozil is the subject of a formal offer from D.  C. United who want to sign the German playmaker ahead of the new MLS season. The new MLS season doesn’t start until mid-March next year.

Mesut Ozil has a contract that expires next summer at Arsenalwhere he has been frozen out of the first team. He has not played for the Arsenal first team since March 2020. The German is the highest earner in the Arsenal squad, but he was not registered for both the Premier League and the Champions League squads. Without Mesut Ozil in the Arsenal squad, the Gunners have struggled in the Premier League this season with six defeats in eleven games.

Mesut Ozil Continues to Play for Arsenal

The growth for Arsenal has moved far away from the requirement of Ozil to the team. They have moved in such a direction that they have lost the interest of keeping Mesut Ozil in their team. There was a time when every fan of Arsenal had an unclear hope that he might be sold during the transfer. But the contract between him and the club made the situation absolutely impossible for him to move on. All doubts were cleared about his transfer to any other club when the transfer windows for Europe were shut down. Mesut Ozil continued to play for the Arsenal club.

Unai Emery is the head coach for Arsenal. He claimed that they need a player like Ozil, but if the club has to keep him, then what is basically the alternative that they can offer to a man of such stature. But now, when Ozil is playing with the club, the head coach, Unai Emery, has declared that they need to have him for the future games. He is trying to make the best out of the worst one. According to the words of Emery, if the club needs to keep Ozil forcefully, then it is a must for them to take out as much as possible from him. It is also important for them to take much effort for making Mesut Ozil feel that he is truly needed by the club.

Unai Emery said that he will get every chance to make a cameo, but for a player who is most needed by the club cannot stand against the Spurs. He said that they have come up with a nicer formula regarding his play. Emery stated that the club has to find out some useful ways by which they can make him play if he has to spend the entire season with them.

Arsenal are reportedly mulling a transfer for Napoli ace Lorenzo Insigne according to reports from Italy. Top Italian tabloid Calciomercato reveals that the Gunners are looking to make a huge statement by signing the attacker in the summer.

Unai Emery has made no secret of his intentions to sign a wide man with the club lacking in that respect. Emery has used Mesut Ozil, HenrikhMkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi on the flanks but none of these playershave provided the needed consistency in the wide positions.

It had been rumoured that the club was in the running for Lille’s forward Nicolas Pepe but the news have fizzled out in recent months. Ivan Perisic was close to a loan move in the January transfer window but it failed to happen in the last minute.

Insigne is an upgrade to these players and has emerged a real leader in the Napoli side in the past three seasons. He has been able to form a good attacking partnership with Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon in the attack for the Naples outfit.

The 27-year-old is blessed with pace, trickery and an unerring eye for goal.  He is also famous for his brilliant set-piece ability and uses his small stature effectively to beat opposition defenders. A transfer fee has been touted as Napoli is understood to value the forward within the region of €100 million.

Arsenal would be getting a top class player if they can complete the move for the Italian international. €100 million is certainly too much for the player but Napoli should be able to accept a transfer fee of €60-€70million for the striker.

Insigne has been impressive this season scoring 13 goals and contributing a further 7 assists as Napoli lie second in the Serie A table.

Mesut Ozil Invited Recep Tayyip, the Turkey Leader to His Wedding in Spite of Germany Backlash

Mesut Ozil, the midfielder from Arsenal have invited the Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the controversial president of Turkey to his wedding. Ozil had been criticized the previous year after he met with Erdogan. He and Ilkay Gundogan, the German teammate had been pictured with the leader.

Ultimately, this caused him to retire from international football. However, Ozil had claimed that he has been the victim of disrespect and racism. Reports suggest that Amine Gulse, the fiancé of Ozil met Erdogan at Ataturk Airport for inviting the leader him to their wedding, in person.

Mesut Ozil is known to have been dating Amine Gulse, the winner of Miss Turkey 2014 since 2016. Also, they are known to have got engaged in 2018. Ozil has announced about his retirement last year from international football. He had struck out a comment that he took this to be unfair discrimination regarding his meeting with Erdogan, the Turkish president. Ozil had been the part of the national team of Germany which had exited from the World Cup of 2018 at the group stage. He had been criticized for his performance and also for meeting with the Turkish president who had been blamed for abuse of human rights.

The Arsenal player is related to Turkey and has also given a defensive statement about his actions. This is the first time that he addressed the matter publicly. He says that for him, getting licked with the president wasn’t about elections or politics; it was simply about respecting the highest office of the country of his family origin.

He goes on to comment that his job is that of a football player and not a politician. Hence, the meeting hadn’t been a political endorsement.
