Mesut Ozil Continues to Play for Arsenal

The growth for Arsenal has moved far away from the requirement of Ozil to the team. They have moved in such a direction that they have lost the interest of keeping Mesut Ozil in their team. There was a time when every fan of Arsenal had an unclear hope that he might be sold during the transfer. But the contract between him and the club made the situation absolutely impossible for him to move on. All doubts were cleared about his transfer to any other club when the transfer windows for Europe were shut down. Mesut Ozil continued to play for the Arsenal club.

Unai Emery is the head coach for Arsenal. He claimed that they need a player like Ozil, but if the club has to keep him, then what is basically the alternative that they can offer to a man of such stature. But now, when Ozil is playing with the club, the head coach, Unai Emery, has declared that they need to have him for the future games. He is trying to make the best out of the worst one. According to the words of Emery, if the club needs to keep Ozil forcefully, then it is a must for them to take out as much as possible from him. It is also important for them to take much effort for making Mesut Ozil feel that he is truly needed by the club.

Unai Emery said that he will get every chance to make a cameo, but for a player who is most needed by the club cannot stand against the Spurs. He said that they have come up with a nicer formula regarding his play. Emery stated that the club has to find out some useful ways by which they can make him play if he has to spend the entire season with them.

It has been reported that the Arsenal coach, during the finals of the Europa league was insulted by the popular player Mesut Ozil. Power ego is a contradiction for discipline in sports, and the players using power has been a conflict between them and the coaches and managers of several teams. There have been many such cases where the coaches and manager had to wrestle against the power of players. Recently, the incident of the conflict between Unai Emery the manager and the Arsenal star player Mesut Ozil has come to light.

It was brought into notice that Mesut Ozil has been disrespecting Unai Emery on the field. There are reports that suggest that the Arsenal midfielder lost his cool and repeatedly kept on insulted the Boss of Arsenal by shouting, that he not the coach of his team. The team performed terribly and was beaten by the score of 4-1. During the match, the midfielder was brought back in the second half and subbed off by his coach, which resulted in widespread of whispers of his miserable performance in the final game.

Ozil’s presence wasn’t constant in the team throughout the season, though he has been a former star player of Real Madrid there were instances that he wasn’t always included by Emery because of his work-rate which was reported to be low. Even after this, the coach of Spanish football team let him open in the finale of the Europa league, following Alexandre Lacazette along with Pierre-Emerick.

Arsenal walked out without a trophy this season and Mesut Ozil enters the transfer list as a consequence of his behavior in the final game of the Europa League.

ARSENAL AFTER NAPOLI ACE

Arsenal are reportedly mulling a transfer for Napoli ace Lorenzo Insigne according to reports from Italy. Top Italian tabloid Calciomercato reveals that the Gunners are looking to make a huge statement by signing the attacker in the summer.

Unai Emery has made no secret of his intentions to sign a wide man with the club lacking in that respect. Emery has used Mesut Ozil, HenrikhMkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi on the flanks but none of these playershave provided the needed consistency in the wide positions.

It had been rumoured that the club was in the running for Lille’s forward Nicolas Pepe but the news have fizzled out in recent months. Ivan Perisic was close to a loan move in the January transfer window but it failed to happen in the last minute.

Insigne is an upgrade to these players and has emerged a real leader in the Napoli side in the past three seasons. He has been able to form a good attacking partnership with Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon in the attack for the Naples outfit.

The 27-year-old is blessed with pace, trickery and an unerring eye for goal.  He is also famous for his brilliant set-piece ability and uses his small stature effectively to beat opposition defenders. A transfer fee has been touted as Napoli is understood to value the forward within the region of €100 million.

Arsenal would be getting a top class player if they can complete the move for the Italian international. €100 million is certainly too much for the player but Napoli should be able to accept a transfer fee of €60-€70million for the striker.

Insigne has been impressive this season scoring 13 goals and contributing a further 7 assists as Napoli lie second in the Serie A table.
